• Remove loose / defective render and make ready to receive new application • Using adhesive and mechanical fixings, install EPS insulation including two coat mortar with all reinforcement mesh and additional coloured decorative render to achieve U Value of 0.3W/m2K or better • To include all mastic seals joints, rebates step details, all small widths, step details and timber fixings for downpipes, soil pipes, aerials, satellite dishes, pipework, drainage and any other associated fixings required to the building. • Extend existing window and door cills with aluminium overcill to match EWI • Install armour mesh to the first two meters in height to ground floors
In partnership with Morgan Sindall, on behalf of Basildon Borough Council, PJ Mear were sub-contracted to complete the EWI installations on numerous individual residential properties as part of a rolling 5-6 year programme which began in 2016 and is now valued at c.£10m.
